Enabling deployable voice, data & video capabilities

The PacStar 6300 series of products enables full-featured voice, data and video capabilities for US military field deployments. It features advanced Cisco-based unified communications including Cisco Unified CallManager and MeetingPlace Express in an integrated package. The 6300 series is designed to meet the DVX-C requirements from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and can directly connect to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) and to the Defense Switched Network (DSN).

UC deployable communications enabled by IQ-Core Software

The PacStar 6300, managed through PacStar IQ-Core Software 3.0 platform simplifies complex tasks through user-friendly software wizards and provides rapid configuration of equipment by automating and simplifying routine, time-consuming and difficult tasks. Management of current UC systems is complex, and confusing with multiple user interfaces, extensive training requirements, and long setup times. IQ-Core Software reduces the need for IT personnel to maintain and operate communications equipment by extending functionality and reducing operating conflicts.

PacStar 6300 deployable UC exchange

The 6300, a Cisco-based VoIP IP PBX solution, provides secure voice, data and video capabilities for deployable applications. Each 6300 system supports up to 500 IP users and expands easily with additional 6300 units. Housed in an IQ-Core Case and managed by IQ-Core Software, the 6300 is a ruggedized UC solution delivering integrated remote management for all components.

This system is designed to integrate smoothly and easily with existing platforms, conform to the latest DISA requirements, and deliver advanced features to deployed troops in difficult and temporary locations. With the 6300, troops can train on Cisco-based UC systems at home and then experience the same features in the field. It is designed in two models that support 100 or up to 500 users.

PacStar 6350 deployable UC extender

The 6350 increases the trunking and tandem capabilities of the 6300 and adds Cisco’s Unified MeetingPlace Express. BRI trunking and T-1CAS provide functions of tandem connections along with ports for secure communications. It connects seamlessly with any 6300 unit and is available in both a US and European standards-based models.
